Brief

On the 16th of June, 2018, the Formula 1 Powerboat Championship (F1H2O) ‘China Day’ event was successfully held in CentrEd at Excel London.

Although F1H2O is one of the largest international motorboat racing competitions, F1H2O is not well known in China and among the Chinese community in the UK. With this challenge, F1H2O hopes to develop brand awareness and collaborate with potential Chinese enterprises in the UK.

Solution

With an aim to increase F1H2O’s brand influence, we developed a ‘China Day’ branding campaign (O2O) to not only increase F1H2O’s awareness via influential and targeted online platforms but to also successfully organise an offline event to invite key Chinese media and high-status Chinese representatives to experience the F1H2O.

We invited 16 media representatives and more than 70 high-status Chinese professionals and representatives from the embassy, Chinese Chambers, larger companies and cultural associations from the UK to attend the event.
